Fluorocarbon is Crucial

Fluorocarbon is a dense line that does not reflect sunlight. By using a small 12"-18" leader at the end of your line you reduce the chances of spooking trout. I have proven it many times to increase the amount of hits you receive on a Trout Magnet. I have also proven that you get more hits by using the smallest diameter possible of fluorocarbon. When using a lure that causes a fish to strike out of a reaction like a spinner it is not important to reduce line flash but when you are drifting a lure or using bait the fish have time to see the line and the reflection it gives off. Try using fluorocarbon with your buddies and I promise you will get more hits even when they are using the same lures.
