If the Crappie are less then 8' we use a float and fish it at the proper depth of the fish.
We fish vertically out of a boat the depth of the fish dropping the lure down and stopping it at the proper depth and holding it in the fish. We believe very little movement is necessary and helps catch more Crappie. We use Crappie Nibblets if bites are slow.
